Boys Golf: Jake Morrisey, Harry Grosso, and Charlie Hitch competed in the BSC Championships in  Sharon (Par 72), with Grosso and Morrisey finishing with 80’s and Hitch an 84. The team took 4th place in the team competition.

So the answer to the belated Raider Friday Trivia is… Millbury. That’s right the Wellesley Girls basketball captured their first ever state title back in March of 2008 at the DCU Center in Worcester with a 65-44 win over the central mass champ Millbury Woolies. It was a terrific day for Raider basketball fans everywhere and interesting side note the Woolies would go on to reach the state finals each of then next two years only to lose both times. Let the Buffalo Bill references begin.

So in midst of all the hustle and bustle of my day yesterday I forgot to do my second installment of Raider Friday Trivia so here it is in belated form, feel free to comment with your answers and look for the correct answer later tonight.
