On this hump day and second to last day of May there certainly was a lot of exciting action as we continue this last week of the regular season. Included in the excitement today was girls lacrosse closing out their regular season vs. Weymouth, baseball facing a big non-league test vs. Xaverian, girls golf taking on Ursuline and girls tennis taking on Newton North. How would it all turn out, lets find out!

With their first tournament appearance in almost 10 years awaiting the softball team was looking today to close out their regular season on a high note as they took on Braintree, meanwhile both boys and girls tennis also took on the Wamps, in the last match of the regular season for the boys and second to last for the girls. Could all 3 come up with big wins, lets find out!

As we enter the last week of the regular season it is time to think ahead to the release of the tournament brackets for your favorite Raider teams. Happy Memorial Day everyone, and let me just take this chance to say thank you to the brave men and women who have served or are currently serving in our armed forces. As the disappointment from tonight’s Celtics defeat sinks in, I almost forgot that there was a boys lacrosse game today as they boys traveled to Concord-Carlisle in a make up from the final round of the Coaches Cup. It was also the boys final regular season contest, as they looked to go into postseason play on a high note. Could they pull it off, lets find out!

Even though there were no contests on this Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, that doesn’t mean it’s not a great time to answer yesterdays trivia question. The last time girls lacrosse in a south sectional final was… 2010 when they fell to none other than Westwood.

As we closed out the second to last week of the regular season, it was tennis and baseball in the spot light today, as both tennis teams squared off with Chelmsford while baseball faced a stiff non-league test of their own in Lexington. Could it be a clean sweep for Raider teams today, lets find out!
