It was announced today that Wellesley High track and field standout Abby Comella (20) has committed to the University of Virginia. We would like to congratulate Abby on this tremendous occasion!

Another Raider team learned its tournament fate today as field hockey brackets were released by the MIAA. The Raiders earned the 14 seed in the D1 South bracket and will host Bridgewater-Raynham in a preliminary round contest on Thursday afternoon. Coming off a 6-1 regular season the football team learned its playoff fate this morning. The team earned the 4 seed in the D2 South sectional and will host New Bedford in the quarterfinals Saturday. For full bracket log on to miaa.ezstream.com!

As we close out the month of October and enter November we also close out regular season play and enter postseason play. For some teams postseason schedule has already been decided while for others there are still some regular season contests to solidify spots. Lets see what this week has in store!

It was a big day for cross country as both the boys and girls teams looked to capture the Bay State Conference title, while in other action boys soccer squared off with New Bedford in a big non-league tilt.
