Earlier today I asked as part of this special Raider Trivia series what movie featured an appearance by Wellesley resident and Terriers and Community Investors founder Joe Roberts. The answer is… Field of Dreams, that’s right back in his college days Roberts was an extra in the baseball classic, appearing in one of the scenes where main characters Kevin Costner and James Earl Jones are at Fenway Park taking in a Red Sox game! With girls hockey the only Raider team still playing and their next game not until Saturday I thought it would be fun to fill up the next few days with some Raider trivia questions. It was a big night for the Wellesley girls basketball team as they squared with the top seeded, top ranked, and 2 time defending state champion Braintree Wamps in the D1 South Semifinals. However if any team was going to end the Wamps reign it was going to be this Raiders team who held the Wamps to their lowest point total of the season (40) in their regular season matchup. Would the Raiders play David on this night and slay the Wamps, let’s find out!
