It was an absolutely gorgeous day out on this Thursday of April Vacation week as both Raider boys lacrosse and baseball took to the field on the road against Dover Sherborn and Medfield respectively. Would both teams get big wins, let’s find out!

It was certainly the perfect day for such a historic tradition and Wellesley Sports Blitz congratulates Stephanie and Amy along with all the Wellesley runners in yesterday’s race on a race well run!

Hope everyone had a good Patriots Day as now its back to Raider action during this April break as both boys and girls lacrosse were in action today, with the girls hosting Notre Dame and the boys taking on Lincoln Sudbury as part of the Coaches Cup Challenge, would both prevail in these non league tilts, let’s find out!

Today ended up being full of Raider action with several make up events on the final day before April Vacation. Before that however it’s time for the answer to today’s trivia question. The name of the trophy presented to the winner of the Wellesley-Needham gme is the Frederick J. Gorman Centennial Trophy which this year is residing in Needham after the Rockets 12-7 victory.
