Summer Blog Plans

So now that another year of Wellesley High Athletics has come to an end, some of you may be wondering what will happen with this blog during the summer time. Don’t you worry there will still be plenty of content to go around. My plan is to post a weekly Little League schedule each Sunday much like I do during the school year but also adding a new wrinkle of posting a daily schedule along with continuing to do little league recaps whenever possible. Also next week I will be recapping each of the 3 high school seasons and also posting the schedule for the little league Williamsport teams that begin play early next month. Lastly if anyone is interested in contributing to this blog about anything Wellesley sports related whether it be a one time thing or on a regular basis, please send me an email at robbie90@comcast.net. Happy summer everyone!

Raider Friday Trivia Answer (Plus Little League Update)

This morning I asked the question who was the AD at WHS prior to John Brown and the answer is… Andy Levin, who also was the head coach of the last super bowl championship for the Raiders back in 1999. Levin served as AD up until 2006 when he retired and was replaced by Brown. No one answered this week’s question correctly so the Dunkin Donuts gift card will have to wait another week. Also a quick little league update, a big congratulations to the Giants who captured the National League title this evening at Reidy Field, defeating the Braves 10-4!

Raider Friday Trivia (With Prize)

Happy Friday everyone, and that means it’s time for another edition of Raider Friday Trivia, where once again we have a Dunkin Donuts gift card up for grabs. Today’s question is… prior to John Brown who was the athletic director at Wellesley High School? Answer later tonight!

What Does Raider Pride Mean To You?

We all hear the term “Raider Pride” thrown around when it comes to Wellesley Sports, but what does it really mean. A term like this I’m sure can have several different meanings to several different people and so I want to put it out there to you the reader, what does Raider pride mean to you? Send me your responses!
