Today was a huge game for the Williamsport South team as it was the District 10 finals, against a familiar foe, defending district and state champion Newton Southeast who defeated Wellesley South in last years district title game. Needless to say Wellesley wanted some revenge. Before we get to that however, and speaking of Wellesley South here is the answer to yesterday’s Raider Friday Trivia question. The manager who guided Wellesley South to the 2012 state title was… Dave “Rosey” Rosenblatt a Wellesley coaching legend who along with current Wellesley South coach Blake Bentley as well as Matt Stein guided South to the town’s first ever state title.
