Even though today was a hot one, it was certainly a nice night for baseball as over at Reidy U9 South took to the field vs. Norwood. How would that one turn out, let’s find out!

It was the final night of Williamsport pool play action tonight with both North and South in action. For South having already clinched top seed in their pool they were looking to finish off pool play undefeated, where as unfortunately for North their run would come to an end after tonight’s game. Would both teams end their pool play on a high note, let’s find out!

After a kind of iffy weekend, it was a beautiful night for baseball on this Monday as in the Reidy game of the night U10 North Lee took on Needham Gold. Would the youngsters be able to get the job done against their neighboring rivals, let’s find out!

It was all Williamsport all the time today as both North and South were in action squaring off against Parkway National and Parkway American respectively in key pool play games. North was trying to strengthen it’s hopes of advancing out of the pool play round while South had a chance to clinch the number 1 seed in their pool. Would both get the job done, let’s find out!

So yesterday I posed the question of what team defeated Wellesley South to capture the District 10 title for Williamsport a year ago. The answer is… Newton Southeast who actually has knocked out a Wellesley team in two out of the last 3 district finals both of which have led to them going on to win the state title! No one answered correctly this time so no one gets the Dunkin gift card so we’ll try again next week!

Sticking with the Williamsport theme on this Friday it is time for another little league recap where both Williamsport teams were back in action tonight with North trying to bounce back from a tough 6-4 loss Wednesday where as South was looking to remain unbeaten thus far in pool play. Would both be successful, let’s find out!
