A big honor was bestowed on Raider football senior Grant Chryssicas this weekend as he was named the Boston Globe’s Division 1A player of the year as part of their All Scholastic section. Chryssicas play at both running back and linebacker was a big part of the Raider’s 10-1 season this season including their 34-14 win over Needham on Thanksgiving. Here’s what the Globe had to say about Chryssicas.
“In a 10-1 season, the 6-foot-1-inch senior was a force. Named Bay State Herget MVP, Chryssicas had 98 tackles and 13 sacks from his outside linebacker position, adding 1,600 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns on offense.”
