Baseball’s Weycker Commits To Virginia Tech (With Reaction)

As first reported yesterday by the Dan Ventura of the Boston Herald Henry Weycker, a sophomore pitcher on the Raider baseball team has given his verbal commitment to play at Virginia Tech. As a freshmen Weycker was one of the aces of the Raider’s staff helping lead the club to yet another postseason berth. I had the chance to catch up briefly with Weycker this morning to get his thoughts on the commitment, and here’s what he had to say. “It was a great feeling when I got off the phone with Virginia tech. I couldn’t be happier with the decision I made.
