On this first Saturday in February, both Raider hockey teams fresh off clinching post season berths faced tough Herget battles against Milton, while boys basketball looked to get back on the winning track as they hosted Milton as well. Before we get to the recap however, it’s time for the answer to yesterday’s Raider Friday Trivia question. The final score of the girls basketball first state title victory was 65-44 as the Raiders defeated Millbury back in 2008. Congratulations to Ryan Lerman who guessed the correct answer and won himself a Dunkin Gift Card! Now here’s tonight’s recap!

So I meant to post this week’s edition of Raider Friday Trivia this morning but due to some unforeseen circumstances was unable to do so. However since it is still Friday before I get to the recap there is no time like the present to post today’s question. There is another Dunkin Gift Card on the line for whoever gets the correct answer. Boys Swimming: Finished second at Bay State Championships

On this first day of February it was a big day for both Raider hockey programs as both could clinch spots in the MIAA state tournament with victories over Norwood. Also the indoor track teams squared  off with Newton North and Needham respectively in the Bay State cross over meet. Could both hockey teams punch their tickets and how did the meet turn out, let’s find out!

It’s the last day of January and several Raider teams were trying to send January out with a bang, as both basketball teams took on Norwood while wrestling took on Brookline and gymnastics traveled to Braintree. Could all the teams close out the month on a high note, let’s find out!
