Baseball and Softball Previews

On day one of our spring sports previews we take a look at the baseball and softball teams who both have high aspirations entering the 2017 campaign. The baseball team is coming off of another tournament berth in 2016, in which they finished with an overall record of 10-11, but with a solid core returning this year’s team looks primed to make another run at both a tournament appearance and a Bay State Herget title. The softball team meanwhile is looking for their first tournament appearance since 2009 after finishing 7-13 a year ago. However the team did end the season with some positive momentum after a big double header victory on senior day against Medway. With a solid core returning as well, the Raiders will certainly be in contention for that elusive tournament berth as well as a conference title.
