It’s the first Monday of April, and it is actually starting to feel like spring outside! It is also a perfect time for the first April edition of Monday Poll. Last week’s poll mustered 1 vote and that vote went to.. the WHS fields over Sprague. This week’s poll takes a bit of a break from Wellesley, in honor of Red Sox opening day today! It is the first week of the spring sports regular season, and there is a ton of action on deck as the majority of Raider teams open up play this coming week. Quick note on the weekly schedule is that both lacrosse teams will be playing their home games at the Wellesley High field this year so any games at Sprague will be noted in the schedule. Happy snowy Saturday everyone, oh and also happy April Fools Day. Don’t worry not trickery in this blog post, but what I do have is the answer to yesterday’s Raider Friday Trivia question. The year that John Brown became Wellesley High’s ad was… the 2006-2007 school year, when he replaced Andy Levin as the ad. Prior to that Brown was the Natick High School baseball coach and a teacher at Wellesley High.
