On this Saturday of Wellesley weekend, there was also 2 spring sports contests on the docket as baseball hosted Xaverian, while girls lacrosse traveled to Hingham. It was a light Friday of action with just 2 Raider teams in action, as boys volleyball took on Brookline and boys tennis took on Algonquin. Little League All Star Weekend

As has become the tradition during the annual Wellesley Wonderful Weekend that takes place this weekend in town, Saturday will also be home to the little league all star games for both baseball and softball. The festivities will begin at noon and run throughout Saturday afternoon with the baseball games/festivities at Reidy Field and softball at the Hunnewell softball field. Also on Saturday will be the second MLB Pitch, Hit, and Run contest that will take place at 1 pm at the Hunnewell high school baseball diamond located next to the football field.
