It was the start of a very exciting weekend in Raider sports as two sectional finals were on the line for both boys and girls tennis, as they took on Newton North and Sharon respectively. For the girls especially there was a lot at stake, a 60+ match win streak and defending their state title. We’ll find out how it turned out in just a moment but first here’s the answer to the latest Raider Friday Trivia question. The Raider baseball team’s last sectional final opponent was… Bellingham in the 2005 D2 South final won by the Raiders 7-6. Now onto the recap!
