It was the final day of the 2017 spring sports season as across 3 different sports state titles were on the line, including for the Cinderella story of the spring season, your Wellesley Raider baseball team who faced Taconic looking for the program’s first ever state championship. Could the Raiders make the slipper fit one last time and walk out on top, we’ll find out momentarily but first here’s the answer to yesterday’s trivia question. The last Bay State Conference team to win a state championship other than in the Super 8 was… Norwood who captured the Division 1 crown back in 2015. Now onto the recap!
