It was an exciting night last night in Raider sports, especially for baseball who’s cinderella run continued with a D1 South finals berth. In this week’s edition of Raider Friday Trivia we continue with the baseball theme as the question is… who did baseball face in their last sectional final appearance back in 2005? Answer tomorrow!

It was not only an exciting evening of playoff action on the high school front but on the little league front as well as the American League semifinals continued over at Reidy Field. Which teams would take another step towards the AL title, let’s find out!

What a thrilling day of tournament action it was in Raider nation as baseball looked to keep their cinderella run going and advance to the south sectional final for the first time since 2005 as they took on Durfee, while both boys and girls tennis looked to punch their tickets to the south finals as well taking on BC High and Newton North respectively. What a Wednesday afternoon it was, both in terms of weather and in terms of tournament action. Baseball looked to continue their cinderella run as they traveled to Barnstable for the D1 South Quarterfinals, while boys and girls lacrosse looked to pull off road upsets in the South Quarterfinals and Semifinals respectively visiting Duxbury and Needham. Could they make it 3 for 3 road wins, let’s find out!

It was another rainy afternoon and while baseball had it’s quarterfinal game moved back yet another day both boys and girls tennis were able to get their quarterfinal matches in as they moved indoors to BSC and Longfellow respectively. Could both teams serve their way to victory, let’s find out!

Well weather certainly wreaked havoc on the tournament schedule on this Monday as baseball and both tennis matches were pushed back a day. However one game did get in on this wet afternoon, as girls lacrosse traveled to Braintree for the D1 South Quarterfinals. If the girls could pull off a win against the familiar Wamps they would earn a date with top seeded and archrival Needham. Could the girls pull out the road win, let’s find out!
