It’s the second to last day of our spring sports season reviews as today we take a look back at both the girls golf and boys volleyball teams. It was another tremendous season for girls golf, who was coming off of a south sectional title in 2017. The girls finished this season at 12-2 overall and then went on to finish second at the sectional match, and third at the all state match. This team has certainly shown its prowess the past few seasons and I would expect nothing less come 2019.
The boys volleyball team unfortunately saw its streak of tournament appearances come to an end this season as the boys struggled to a 3-17 overall record. That being said the heart and determination of this team was evident match in and match out, and should be cause for great optimism heading into 2019.
