As we close out the spring season reviews today, we’ve saved the one of the best for last as we take a look back at the boys and girls track teams, who both continued a string of success in 2018. The boys team finished their regular season 4-1 before finishing 13th at the East sectional meet, and 35th at the all-state meet. The boys have been perennial contenders now for years and I don’t expect that to change as they enter the 2019 season.
The girls had an amazing 2018 season that was certainly banner worthy. After finishing 5-0 in regular season competition, the girls finished 4th at a very close sectional meet, and then went on to capture the title at the all-state meet! With a core of young talent dominating the field we can definitely expect the girls to be back and better than ever as they look to defend their title come next spring!
