It was a beautiful day for football at Hunnewell Field as the Raiders hosted neighboring rival Natick, in a game with big conference and sectional implications. We’ll find out momentarily if the Raiders could come out on top, but first it’s time to answer yesterday’s trivia question. It’s a Friday of a holiday weekend, and it’s also the first Friday of October so it’s a doubly good time for another edition of Raider Friday Trivia. Today’s question is…what sport did John Brown coach prior to becoming Wellesley High School athletic director? Answer tomorrow!

A late edition to yesterday’s recap but definitely worth mentioning is that boys golf captured the Bay State Conference title at the all conference match yesterday. The team was led by Michael Rosenbloom, Max Webb, Drew Cohen, and coach Ken Bateman. Congratulations to the team on this extraordinary accomplishment!
