It was a bone-chilling night for any outdoor event, let alone soccer but that’s where we found ourselves as boys soccer looked to earn a spot in the state finals. To do so however they would have to get past the north champion Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors at a packed house at Manning Field in Lynn. Could the Raiders punch their ticket to the ultimate game, lets find out!

Boys advance to face Ludlow in State Finals!

As posted yesterday boys soccer are south champions after their victory over BC High yesterday. That means the boys will now take on Lincoln-Sudbury tomorrow in the state semifinals for a chance to advance to the state title game. Here’s a quick look at what you need to know about both teams before they take the field tomorrow.

As Wellesley students celebrated a day off on this Monday, the boys soccer team looked to celebrate something else as they traveled down to Hingham to face BC High for the D1 South title. The last time the boys made it here was in 2015, when they fell to Brockton. Would the second time be the charm, lets find out!

Hope everyone has had a great long weekend, especially if you are of school age, it is also a great time for another edition of Monday Poll! Today’s question is… as the Patriots enter their bye week, how would you grade their performance so far? Above, at or below expectations?

It’s championship week for the majority of the fall sports, and multiple Raider teams are still alive, with boys soccer, girls swimming, and both cross countries vying for the crown. Two notes about this week’s schedule is it is subject to change based on how boys soccer fares and I’m only posting the dates that have games on them to keep it simple. Here’s a look at the week ahead!

It was a big day for the girls swim team as they headed into MIT for the South Sectional meet. The girls were looking to defend their sectional crown and advance to the state meet next weekend. Could they pull it off, lets find out!

It was certainly an exciting Saturday in Raider action as boys soccer took on Silver Lake in the D1 South semifinals while both cross country teams headed to the Eastern Mass Championships. It was a cold, rainy night for football tonight as the Raider football team made the trip down to Braintree in its final pre-Thanksgiving game. With a win the Raiders could clinch yet another winning season. Would they be successful, lets find out!

So finally after some schedule adjusting due to weather boys soccer found out tonight their opponent in the D1 South Semifinals. The boys will take on Silver Lake Saturday at noon at Hingham High School for a berth in the D1 South finals. The weekly schedule has been updated to reflect this. That being said I thought I’d take a quick look at how both teams got here.
