So recently cheerleaders in town got an exciting news as the cheerleading program was elevated to an official varsity sport at Wellesley High School. Odessa Sanchez who coached the team as a club sport has been named the head coach of the new varsity team. Sanchez passed along this information about a Meet and Greet she is holding for prospective cheerleaders getting ready for the new season. The Meet and Greet/Parent Intro Meeting will be held Tuesday July 23rd at Morse Library Community Room in Natick. There Odessa will answer any questions and accept signups for the fall.
