It was a big day for football today as they opened up postseason play at home against New Bedford. This was the second straight year football hosted a first round playoff game and they were looking for better success this time around. Before we get to the recap however time to unveil the answer to yesterday’s trivia question. Before today the last time a Raider team played New Bedford in postseason play was in 2016 when boys volleyball fell to the Whalers in the first round of the D1 South tournament. Congratulations to Laurance Stuntz who is our prize winner. Now onto the recap!

Team advances to face Natick in semifinals!

The final brackets for the 2019 fall season were released today as both boys and girls soccer learned their fates. The boys earned the 12th seed in D1 South and will travel to Weymouth for the first round on Monday. The girls earned the 13 seed in D1 South and will travel to Newton South Monday as well for their first round contest. Full brackets can be found on miaa.ezstream.com!
