Top 5 Wellesley Sports Moments Of Decade #5

This week with the 2010’s coming to a close I will be unveiling my top 5 Wellesley Sports moments of the decade beginning tonight with number 5. There are a lot of moments that could’ve made this list in what certainly has been a great decade of Wellesley Sports. Moment number 5 comes to us just months into the 2010’s, as it is Blake Dietrick and MaryLouise Dixon both reaching 1000 points in the same game. The duo accomplished the feat in a February 2010 tournament victory over Newton South at home. Being there in person you could feel the build up and excitement as the two grew closer before Dixon passed the mark with a free throw and Dietrick a bit later with a 3.
