We’ve made it folks, the top spot in the top 5 Wellesley sports memories of the last decade. This top spot was a pretty easy choice, as we flash back to November 2015 and the 128th installment of the Wellesley-Needham football rivalry held at historic Fenway Park. It was only fitting that one of the first high school football games held at Fenway in more than 3 decades feature the longest public school rivalry in the country and the game certainly lived up to the hype. Despite the fact Wellesley came up short falling 12-7 to the Rockets, this was a game and a moment that players, coaches, fans, and broadcasters will never forget.
