Wellesley resident and former BC High/University of Virginia stand out pitcher Mike Vasil achieved every youngsters dream as he was selected by the New York Mets in the 8th round of the 2021 MLB draft. As someone who remembers Mike both as a little league pitcher and from his days at Terriers I wanna congratulate Mike on this amazing accomplishment and wish him nothing but the best as he begins his big league journey!
