It’s the start of another week, and thus time for another edition of Monday Poll. Last week’s poll yielded the most votes I believe in Monday Poll history with 24 total votes being cast, and out of those votes, 14 went to watching in person. This week’s poll question is… for a professional or college football game  do you prefer sitting in the upper deck or down at field level? Comment with your votes!

Hope everyone is having a great end to the weekend, as we get ready for another week. Just a reminder that beginning tomorrow we will roll out the schedules for the 2017 fall season so get ready!

Hope everyone had a great Saturday, as now it is time to reveal the answer to yesterday’s trivia question. The team that the football team beat in their first ever night game was… Brookline 40-7 to open the 2004 season. It was the first of 3 consecutive wins to open the Friday night light era.

It’s another beautiful August Friday and that also means it’s time for another rousing edition of Raider Friday Trivia! Today the Dunkin gift card is on the line again so get your answers in. The question is… who did the Raider football team beat in their first ever Friday night home game back in 2004? Answer tomorrow!

It’s the last daily schedule of the 2017 summer season as the U12 softball team will host Charlestown tonight in their final game of the regular season. Let’s take a look at the full info.

Softball:

U12 vs. Charlestown (Hunnewell II) 7:15 pm

As we get into August and summer baseball/softball season winds down it’s time to start looking ahead to the 2017 fall sports season at the high school. Beginning next week we will unveil the schedules for all of the fall sports teams, and then the following week will have previews of those teams as they begin preseason practices, so stay tuned!

Happy first Monday of August everyone, and while it may not feel like the dog days quite yet it does feel like a perfect time for the newest installment of Monday poll. Last week’s poll saw the MLB World Series take the top spot with 8 out of the 11 votes. This week’s poll question is…would you rather watch a full baseball game from start to finish on tv or in person?

It’s the second to last daily schedule of summer 2017 as the U12 softball team is in action. Let’s take a look at who they are taking on.
