Back from a weekend hiatus and catching up on the end of regular season, plus some postseason action from over the weekend. Saturday baseball visited Lexington, while softball and track closed out their regular season and overall season respectively, and then Sunday baseball closed out their regular season and looked to capture the Carey division title. On this last day of May there was one Raider team in action as softball headed to Medway for their second to last game of the regular season. Could the girls close out their non-league schedule on a high note, lets find out!

Two other Raider teams learned their postseason fate today as the boys and girls lacrosse brackets were announced. The boys earned the 13 seed in D1 South and will face a familiar foe the 4th seed Newton North Tigers in the first round. The defending state champion girls earned the 4 seed and will host 13th seeded Pembroke in the opening round. Again for all brackets go miaa.ezstream.com.

The first of several bracket unveilings took place today as the team tennis brackets were announced. The Raider boys tennis team earned the 12th seed in D1 South and will travel to Sharon in the first round. The girls tennis team earned the 2 seed and will host the winner of Whitman-Hanson and Bishop Feehan in the first round. For full brackets go to miaa.ezstream.com.

It’s the last Friday and last day of May so that means it’s time for another Raider Friday Trivia! Today’s question is… Who was head coach of the boys lacrosse team when they won their last state title back in 2006? Comment with your answers!

Baseball and boys tennis both looked to pick up big wins today as we close out the last week of the regular season. While both have wrapped up tournament berths wins would definitely add to a strong seed in the sectionals. Could they both take care of business, lets find out!
