Due to the snow day all games today were postponed so no Raider recap tonight but I do have the answer to this weeks Raider Friday trivia question and the winner of the $30 Olympia Sports gift card. On this first Tuesday of February it was all about the hoops as both the Raider boys and girls basketball teams squared off against Norwood. The girls were looking to go to 14-1 on the season while the boys were looking to snap a 4 game losing streak. Would they be successful, let’s find out!

Last week I posed the question of what were people’s favorite facilities to watch/play sports in town and I got one response that I wanted to share. It comes from Harry Grosso current Wellesley High School student/athlete who also is a former Wellesley Little Leaguer. Here’s what he had to say on the subject.
“My favorite facility this town offers is definitely Reidy Field. What a cool place to play games as a younger person and coach as a older kid. Memories are made there 365 days a year whether baseball is being played or not.”

Well the calendar has officially hit February as of tomorrow and that means for most Raider teams the final month of the regular season.
