A Message to Wellesley Students

So first of all, this will be the last negative thing I post about what was overall another tremendous Friday night lights game and Friday night lights win for your Raider football team but I feel like something needs to be said as this has happened the last two years and that is students leaving the game in either the 3rd or 4th quarter, while it’s still a close game or as in the case Friday the team is winning. I could be wrong but I would think it’s gotta be disappointing for the football team, especially when they’re winning the game to look in the stands in the 4th quarter and have the majority of the student section empty. Part of the fun of the night game is the environment and don’t get me wrong the environment was great Friday night for most of the game, but to have those sections pretty well cleared out down the stretch especially again when we’re winning the game, definitely put a damper on things somewhat. So please Wellesley students I know you’re lives are busy and there’s a lot going on i’m sure on a Friday night, but next time think about how it’ll feel to the team, before you head to the exits early.
