Next up in the second to last spring preview post, we take a look at the boys and girls track teams, who are both trying to race their way to a Herget title this season as well as more impressive showings in the all-state meets. Here’s some of what you need to know about the teams heading into this campaign.
Boys Track:
2015 record: 2-3
Notes: While the boys finished the middle of the pack last year in terms of conference standing they certainly had their fair share of exciting moments and also had quite a number of runners fare well in the all-state meets. The boys will be looking to continue that into this season and try to get back to the top of the league standings.
Girls Track:
2015 record: 5-0
Notes: Needless to say the girls had an impressive 2015 campaign capturing the Herget title and like their male counterparts sending several athletes to the all-state meets. The girls will look to once again sit atop the Herget division race and carry all their 2015 success in what hopes to be as successful a 2016 season.
