On this last day of tournament bracket unveilings, it was boys and girls tennis’ turn to learn their tournament fate. Coming off a 16-0 regular season the girls earned the 2 seed in D1 South and will meet the winner of Bishop Feehan and Mansfield in the first round on Saturday. Meanwhile the boys earned the 1 seed in the D1 South bracket and will face the winner of Framingham and Durfee in the first round also on Saturday. Due to Mother Nature’s interference baseball had to wait a day to close out their regular season as they traveled to Medfield this morning. Fresh off a tournament clinching win over Natick the team was looking to end their season on a high note and also improve their seeding. Also on this Saturday girls tennis took on Hopkinton in their final regular season match. Could baseball get the job done and could girls tennis prevail, we’ll find out but first here’s the answer to yesterday’s trivia question. The last time prior to this year that boys volleyball hosted a tournament game was… 2015 as they fell to Barnstable in the first round of the south bracket. Now onto the recap!

Well rain forced the lone game of the day (baseball) to be pushed back a day but there was some news on future games as the boys and girls lacrosse teams learned their tournament fates this afternoon. The boys earned the 6 seed in the D1 South bracket and will host 11th seeded Mansfield a week from Sunday (6-4) at 5 pm. A wet, gloomy Friday morning won’t ruin this week’s version of Raider Friday trivia! Today’s question is… when was the last time prior to this year that boys volleyball hosted a tournament match? Answer tomorrow!

It was a damp, yucky Thursday afternoon but that didn’t stop the Raider girls golf team as they took on Saugus and Mount Alvernia in a tri-match. How did it turn out, let’s find out!
